When inspecting a core – Look for:
Like for like trades and good rebuildable core.
No broken pulleys, mounting or shaft.
Damaged pulley groove/grooves caused by rough handling
Seized bearings (this indicates a damaged shaft)
Damage by non-operational causes (fire, rust or rough handling)
